Christmas!! 
This is my favorite time of year, and I'm so thankful to be in the states this year so I can spend Christmas with my family (unlike last year 
). Hope everyone is staying warm this December! It's been freezing the past few days where I live, though the snow is very pretty.

It's been freezing the past few days where I live, though the snow is very pretty. I realize I keep disappearing for long periods of time. Recently, I really felt like taking a break from my computer as much as possible. I didn't get on dA at all really, I barely went on YouTube (which is rare for me), and I only used my email when I needed to. Again, part of it is because my current internet is not the most reliable, but mostly I felt tired of being on my computer all of the time. Anyway, that being said, I'm being sucked back into computer time, so I should be around a bit more frequently in the coming weeks.
Let me know how you've been doing! I haven't talked to you guys in so long, I feel really bad!

:dance: I kept poking her about joining so she can post some of her drawings. She's getting really good, and this is a fun community to be in and get feedback. :aww: I personally have been toying with the idea of starting a secondary account and moving my drawings off this one....cuz I'm just really self-conscious about them. But instead, we decided to do a joint account for both our drawings/sketches, Asteria--Nyx (https://www.deviantart.com/asteria--nyx). She (Nyx) will be the primary manager of that account though, I (Asteria) will just post my drawings and OCs over there from now on. Anyway, I don't know how soon she'll upload stuffs, but go give her some love and tell her I

Yes, I've been gone for almost half a year. I'm realizing now that it will be hard for me to be consistently present on dA for the near future. Maybe that will change, but for now I will try to pop in as often as I can. So, with that being said, hello again, my dear friends...and greetings to the New Year!
Living overseas has been exciting and challenging. Teaching has been a wonderful experience, yet a tad exhausting at times. I love the college environment, without any of the pressures of being a student. What a strange feeling to be on the giving end of projects and exams! And now that grades have all been submitted, I am stress-free for

How do you pack for an entire year away from home in a foreign country? I am already a failure at packing light (I like being prepared for everything, okay? ;)), but this has been particularly stressful. :faint: But, miraculously, I finally accomplished the impossible (well, impossible for me). With suitcases bulging yet finally under the weight limit, I'm ready to set off for China again. This time for a whole year. Yeah.
I was excited up until this week, but now am too tired to care. I'm sure once I stop stressing over details, it will be exciting again. Yay! :dance:

Whoopsiedaisies! :dummy: So I didn't mean to disappear completely for...erm...well...months. But life is life is life. And for some reason I just sort of withdrew from anything related to my computer for a long while. But I also haven't done art in a while which is very sad. However, I have been working on a super-awesome collab story with my great friend, ~kaidi10 (https://www.deviantart.com/kaidi10). Seriously, this thing has turned into a giant crazy behemoth of a YA series and will probably take forever to complete, but it is amazing fun. :la:

Legit feeling. I think most people don't ever realize how much of their lives they spend with electronics, and that it's good to take a break every once in a while.
